Well-known Midrand chef murdered

In a statement, South African Chefs Association communications manger Lauren van Zyl said, “..It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we learn of the passing of chef Nxumalo. Chef Danny, as we called him, had incredible passion and dedication for the culinary arts, which was evident in everything he did.”

“He had a vibrant personality and enjoyed doing culinary demonstrations at our events. He was a great mentor to young chefs. On behalf of the president, board of directors, office staff and members of the association, we want to send our thoughts and condolences to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.”
