Ivory Park Police festive season message
IVORY PARK - Ivory Park Police Station commander Brigadier Risimati Frank Mthombheni and Warrant Officer Neldah Sekgobela wished the community a safe festive season.
The police station is appealing to community members to take care of themselves and properties during this festive season. Mthombeni advised the community to also drive safely, and avoid drinking and driving.
The station had about 10 contact crimes reported per week, but the rate of reporting those crimes such as house robberies, business robberies and rapes was declining. Police attributed the decline to the working relationship between police and the community.
“Together, it is possible to have a safer festive season. Ivory Park police wish the community much joy, peace and happiness during this festive season. Merry Christmas,” said Mthombheni.
