MIDRAND - A young girl from Vorna Valley might just get her lucky Hollywood break very soon.
Six-year-old Suaney Scott has been scouted by a United States agent, Kim Meyers, to compete at the Arts Festival in Orlando, Florida in June.
“She will be competing in fashion runway, modelling, acting and dancing (ballet),” said Tania Scott, Suaney’s proud mother.
The arts convention is where record producers, talent scouts, Hollywood producers and modelling agencies from all over the world get together and scout for new talent.
“My daughter is the youngest contestant representing the South African team,” said Scott. The protege was afforded the opportunity through her agents, Just You Artist Management, in Rivonia.
Scott said her daughter was very excited to go. Suaney is no stranger to the limelight as her mother points out she has also been cast for Clover and Dial Direct adverts, last year.
Speaking on her daughters’ seemingly hectic schedule, Scott said, “Suaney is an all-rounder. She does various other sports such as swimming, ballet and sprints.”
“She also got an A in the National Arts contest for her drawing and an A for her ballet. She can play the flute and loves acting and we show dogs,” she said.
With all these credentials, it is no doubt that the little go-getter will represent Midrand well on the international stage.
