New neighborhood market in Vorna Valley
MIDRAND - The Vorna Valley Neighborhood Market will be launched at the Swiss Club, 31 Moerdyk Street, on 14 February.
Speaking of the market, Al Karaki said, “The new urban lifestyle market is a family friendly and community market which will operate on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 4pm at the Swiss Club.”
The market will offer:
- Farmers Market – Fresh produce picked in the morning from local farms.
- Car Boot Market – Drive your car in, open the boot and sell your unwanted books, collectables, antiques, garden stuff, jewellery, electronics and tools.
- Kids zone with jumping castles, games area and face painting.
- Food zone with lots of tasty treats from traditional and gourmet food vendors, cool drinks and our new sizzling shisanyama.

- Leisure zone gadgets and gimmicks to make life fun.
- Community zone for the community and non-profit organisations – a perfect time to give back.
- Stall offerings including arts, crafts, jewellery and even business opportunities.
- TK’s Shisanyama – outdoor grilling to perfection.
- Kalahari Bar and Lounge with a big screen, cold beers and exotic drinks.
- Prizes and competitions.
- Secure parking is available for market visitors.
