Showing love to those in need

MIDRAND - Kings Court Church Midrand recently spent a day showing love and care to a group of orphans from Christelik Maatskaplike Raad, an organisation that renders services to orphans in Ivory Park.

Pastor Obi Ukaegbu, together with Christian Social Council in Ivory Park, who care for orphaned children, came together for a love-drive where they gave out food parcels and clothing to almost 200 orphans and families in need.

Ukaegbu said, “It is important for the community as a whole to come together and care for those disadvantaged and to show support and care for them as these children are our future.”

Prisca Mathabatha, from the organisation that received donations, said the food and community love shown by the church was refreshing. “Foster parents and foster children enjoyed themselves, we appreciate all the support the church has shown us.”

Kings Court Church will continue with their love drive and welcome any donations from the community. For anyone wishing to donate kindly contact Pastor Refilwe Ukaegbu.
