The car was stolen from the parking lot of a business premises located on the corner of Allandale and Alsation roads.
The men, who are aged between 30 and 40 years old, were caught and arrested on Old Pretoria Road on 26 June at about 7.45am.
“The police were following up on a lookout of the white double cab, [that was sent out to all officers on the streets,] when they caught the guys,” said Constable Matome Tlamela, head of communications at Midrand Police Station.
She said, the police spotted the vehicle on Old Pretoria Road with two occupants inside. “The vehicle was immediately stopped and both suspects were arrested for possession of a suspected stolen motor vehicle,” she said.
Tlamela said the arrested suspects will appear in court soon facing charges of possession of suspected stolen motor vehicle.
