Director of the school, Vijay Adulla, said the school arranged for all the Grade 1 to 3 pupils to watch the premier of the Snow Queen at the Irene Village Kids Theatre. He said, “The children had an amazing and memorable experience as they watched the play and got a chance to meet and interact with the characters. They were able to draw valuable lessons which they will hopefully apply in their lives.”
He added that field trips are highly beneficial to pupils as it enhances their social and critical thinking skills as well as gives them an opportunity for a unique kind of learning. It can touch the imagination, arouse curiosity or fire an artistic impulse in a pupil.
“The positive responses and contented smiles from our pupils during the watching of the show and after was well worth the time, cost and effort of planning a trip of this nature,” said Adulla.
