A greener SPCA
MIDRAND - Midrand SPCA chairperson Brenda Lucas said tree maintenance company Urban Forest recently donated more than 60 plants to the association.
“The flower beds were in need of some plants to improve the look of the gardens,” said Lucas.
“We appreciate the donation of various plants that would require little water and low maintenance.”
Midrand SPCA would like to thank Nadia and Derek Ritchie from Urban Forest who came to the SPCA to help work on the new garden on Mandela Day.
“Thanks to all the volunteers and Nadia Ritchie who sourced donations from various companies for us, and Kim Brookes and Sleeper Sales Lyttleton, as well as Piet Steyn from Clayville Organics who donated the compost needed.”
