Helicopter lands for mom and baby after taxi accident
MIDRAND - A helicopter has landed on the N1 near Olifantsfontein , following a collision on the N1 South.
Santi Steinmann from Netcare 911 said that a mother and 10 month old baby were airlifted after a taxi overturned.
Steinmann said the baby was in a critical condition, while the mother was in a serious condition.
“There are multiple patients who have sustained various injuries… unfortunately I can’t tell you how many patients there are at this stage,” Steinmann said.
Patients were being treated on scene and transported to various hospitals in the area.
Traffic has been delayed in the area.
