1 2 3 steps into caring citizens

MIDRAND - The Grade R class of 345 Nursery School in Vorna Valley visited Halfway Gardens Home for the Aged for a charity drive.

Boxes of biscuits were collected by the entire nursery school and, together with bookmarks the children made themselves, these were distributed to the elderly. The class also read stories and talked to the elderly and were privileged to meet 100 year old Norah Lillico.

“It was a wonderful experience for all the children, grannies and grandpas,” said Bev McVicker, administrator at the school.
