On 7 August, children of the two sister schools supported Reach for a Dream’s Slipper Day fundraising initiative by wearing their slippers to school and thus raised R1 500.
Stewart Tagg, principal of both schools said, “The organisation is one of South Africa’s most respected and widely recognised charities.”
He also extended his gratitude to all stakeholders in the schools.
“A big thank you to the children and parents who supported this worthwhile cause,” said Tagg.
“The funds raised will go towards helping the foundation fulfil the dreams of children between the ages of three and 18 who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.”
