According to IOL News, Smith was involved in an accident after leaving Truth nightclub in Midrand in March.
Three people were killed in the accident.
Smith claimed, at the time, that he had not been driving the vehicle and allegations arose that he had moved the bodies of his friends to support this claim.
After leaving the nightclub, Smith’s black BMW M3 rolled and three passengers were thrown from the vehicle. Smith was the lone survivor of the accident.
Eyewitnesses claimed that Smith had rearranged his friends’ bodies after the accident.
The prosecution has provisionally withdrawn the case against Smith.
According to the IOL news report, families of the victims are demanding to know why Smith was not arrested at the scene of the accident and why his blood was not drawn.
Family members are reported to also be confused about the accident report which states that the driver of the vehicle was deceased.
When Smith was asked if he had pretended to be a passenger and if he had moved the bodies, he said he was concussed at the time and did not remember what had happened.
