Two suspects arrested for house robbery in Noordwyk

NOORDWYK - Two suspects were arrested for house robbery in Noordwyk at 12.15 on 11 September.

Midrand police have said that a suspect was shot in the foot during the chase but he managed to get away in a blue vehicle.

11 September, 3.42pm:

According to Midrand police communications officer, Constable Matome Tlamela, the police received a report of a house robbery in progress.

With the quick response of the police, five suspects were found at the scene of the robbery. They were attempting to steal the complainant’s music system.

The suspects’ were loading a TV and speakers into their black Mercedes Benz which was parked inside the complainant’s  yard.

Two suspects were arrested while the other three fled the scene on foot.

The suspects left the music system behind when they fled the scene.
