Learner Transport workshop coming up soon
MIDRAND – Do you have concerns about your child's school transport? Attend the meeting on 17 September.
The Midrand Learner Transport Association invites parents of children who use learner transport to a meeting on 17 September.
The association’s public relations officer, Brian Govender said, “We are holding a final workshop and we will discuss issues raised this year, address parents on active parenting and speak to scholar transporters on safety.
“We are also concerned about accidents, drugs in schools, prostitution, human trafficking and more.”
Govender said speakers from community safety, Johannesburg Metro Police Department, South African Police Services and principals from schools, the association’s committee, transporters and transport owners will be present.
The meeting will be held at Midrand Primary School on 17 September at 9.30am.
