L’Oreal improves learning environment at Kaalfontein Primary School

MIDRAND – L'Oreal staff and ambassadors spent their day at Kaalfontein Primary School as part of their annual Corporate Social Responsibility.

L’Oreal visited Kaalfontein Primary School on 11 August as part of their annual Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.

The team painted the school’s classrooms inside and out with different patterns to help bring the fun into learning and also built outside benches and tables for the pupils.

They also donated foundation phase learning resources to the school as well as more than 2 000 sandwiches.

“Every year we try and find a worthy cause to be associated with. This particular school stood out because it needed renovations. L’Oreal visited the school prior to today and spoke to the teachers and principal to help identify what the school needs,” said Sandeep Rai, marketing director of L’Oreal South Africa.

Rai said they hope their efforts will help in the development of the school and also impact learning positively.
