Multiple vehicle collision on the N1 south

On Sunday morning, 4 February, Netcare 911 responded to calls of a multiple vehicle collision on the N1 south under the Allandale Bridge in Midrand.

Upon arrival, Netcare 911 attended to two drivers, a 28-year-old woman, and a 72-year-old old man. Both had sustained moderate to severe injuries and were in a stable condition before being transported to the nearest hospital for treatment.

The exact circumstances surrounding the accident are not yet known. Local authorities were on the scene and are set to conduct an investigation.
