Looking for sponsors to fight crime
MIDRAND – Security company Ria Sebetsa seeks sponsors to assist in their surveillance system project in Midrand.
Local security company Ria Sebetsa has announced plans to install surveillance cameras in the Vorna Valley and Halfway Gardens area.
CEO Ria Sebetsa Danny Maduray said, “The need for cameras in our area is a growing concern.
“Many associations or even previous security companies were promising to do it but nothing happened.
“With the crime in our community, I saw the need to put up these cameras.”
He added that the company would like to install the cameras in Vorna Valley and Halfway Gardens as part of the first phase and hopes to later install cameras in other areas in Midrand. “This will definitely help us fight crime in our area.”
He said that Ria Sebetsa Security is looking for sponsorship for the project – the company will be putting forward 50 per cent to the system.
Maduray added that the sponsorship will assist in the installation and upkeep of the surveillance system.
