9th Road is closed for construction

NOORDWYK – Due to construction 9th Road in Noordwyk has been closed.

 


The entrance to 9th Road in Noordwyk has been closed due to much-needed upgrades to the road.

Acting managing director at the Johannesburg Road Agency (JRA) Siya Nodu said, “9th Road will be upgraded from gravel roads to surfaced standard and construction will take approximately six months. Construction [commenced] on 19 August and the road will be closed from 8.30am daily.”

Nodu added that the road will be closed for general road users during construction period. The learners from the two schools and the residents of 9th Road will be given access to the road.

He concluded, “Completion date will be the end of March 2020, if all external conditions allow.”
