IVORY PARK – Man wanted for a murder he allegedly committed in July 2017.
The Ivory Park police appeal to members of the public to assist them in finding an alleged murder suspect.
According to Ivory Park Police Station’s spokesperson Captain Bernard Matimulane, the suspect, Tomeya Mathebula (32), is being sought in connection with a murder that took place in Ivory Park in July last year. “Police commenced with investigations immediately after the murder and all pointers led them to Tomeya Mathebula who had by then left Ivory Park and has never been seen since.”
Matimulane added that Ivory Park detectives strongly believe that Mathebula is connected to this murder which happened on the morning of 30 July 2017 outside a tavern.
“The deceased, a 30-year-old man from Hospital View in Tembisa, was found lying on the floor with a stab wound to the chest.”
