Motorcyclist killed in collision on R55 in Blue Hills

A male motorcyclist died in a collision on the corner of the R55 and Summit Road in Blue Hills, Midrand on the evening of 14 September. 

Netcare 911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst said their paramedics arrived on the scene at 6.55pm after receiving reports of a collision between a light motor vehicle and a motorcycle.

He said, “Medics assessed a male motorcyclist, however, his injuries were fatal and he was sadly declared deceased on the scene.”

The driver of the vehicle was not injured, he added that all necessary authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
