Midrand police arrest two suspects for possession of dagga

MIDRAND – Police arrested two suspects for possession of daggs and reckless and negligent driving.

Midrand police were pleased to arrest two suspects for possession of marijuana and reckless and negligent driving on 29 April.

Spokesperson for the Midrand Police Station Sergeant Matome Tlamela said, “The Midrand tracing team received a tip-off of a combi delivering drugs and dagga in the area.”

Tlamela said the street value of the drugs is estimated at R10 000.

“Two suspects were arrested for possession of dagga and reckless and negligent driving and were detained at the Midrand SAPS,” said Tlamela.

She said the suspects are expected to appear in court within 48 hours.
