ICYMI: Two suspects arrested for possession of suspected stolen property

NOORDWYK – The two suspects were arrested when they were spotted near the crime scene of a business robbery.

Two suspects were arrested for possession of suspected stolen property in Noordwyk on 1 July.

According to Midrand Police Station spokesperson Sergeant Matome Tlamela, Midrand police members arrested two suspects for possession of suspected stolen property after they were spotted in a white Toyota Avanza near the crime scene of a business robbery.

Police recovered two Sinotec LED TVs and two HP laptops.”The chase started at Old Pretoria Road behind Teazers then onto Olifantsfontein Road then right onto Lever Road in Noordwyk until police managed to stop their vehicle along Lever Road near George Road,” said Tlamela.

The suspects were arrested at about 4.30am on 1 July.She said the suspects have been detained at the Midrand Police Station. “The station would like to applaud the good work and bravery of the members for this great success.”
