ICYMI: Vorna Valley Residents Association calls on residents to attend the online AGM

VORNA VALLEY – Vorna Valley Residents Association calls on new members to join the association.

The Vorna Valley Residents Association invites all residents of Vorna Valley, including businesses and property owners, to attend their annual general meeting on 12 August.

Chairperson for the association, Marianne Nel explained that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the meeting will take the form of a Zoom meeting. She added, “We will email you our yearly report for you to go through beforehand.”

She continued,”On the day of the AGM, we will not be going through these reports.

“Instead, you, as a resident or owner, can tell us what you want to see happen in Vorna Valley, issues that you have that don’t get resolved and suggestions for what you would like to see happen in Vorna Valley.

“The association requested that all questions and suggestions be emailed to them by 29 July, to give them time to find information, so that it can be discussed with all the residents and owners.

“The meeting will take place from 6.30pm for 7pm and part of our agenda will be discussions on council issues, License Plate Recognition Camera project progress, and the addition of new members.”

Nel concluded, “All residents, property and business owners should respond to invitation by 29 July as we would need your verified email address for you to join the Zoom meeting.”
