A Mayibuye woman was brutally murdered by unkown suspects on 30 August.
According to the Rabie Ridge Police Station spokesperson, Constable Jacob Nhlongo, on 30 August at around 10.30pm they received a complaint that a person was shot dead in Mayibuye.
“Upon arrival we found that a female person was lying in a pool of blood after being shot by unknown people.
“As of yet the motive of the killing is not clear.
“We are requesting that the community of Mayibuye come forward with more information.”
All information will be treated as confidential.
Nhlongo assured members of the community and family members of the deceased that the Rabie Ridge Police Station will not rest until the perpetrators are arrested.
