Midrand police have opened a case of murder following the death of a horse stable employee allegedly at the hands of two of his colleagues on 15 September.
Spokesperson for the Midrand Police Station, Sergeant Matome Tlamela said the suspects allegedly murdered their colleague following an argument.
Tlamela added that following the murder, the suspects apparently tampered with the scene by attempting to make the incident look like a suicide by hanging the victim in the horse stables. She said a motive for the murder had not been determined but the investigation was currently ongoing.
The suspects were arrested and were being detained at Johannesburg Prison with them expected to appear in court on 13 October.
Details: Midrand Police Station 011 347 1600.
