Midrand police arrested a 22-year-old suspect in President Park who was in possession of cocaine on 6 October.
Spokesperson for the Midrand Police Station, Sergeant Matome Tlamela said the arrest occurred during a stop-and-search on Stag Road in President Park. The arresting officer stopped the suspect’s blue Kia Picanto while patrolling the area. The officer searched the vehicle and found a small amount of cocaine in his possession.
The man was immediately arrested and detained at Midrand Police Station. He was charged with the possession of an illegal substance.
