Rabie Ridge police are searching for five male suspects who allegedly robbed a shop in Rabie Ridge on 30 September.
According to Constable Jacob Nhlongo, spokesperson for the Rabie Ridge Police Station, the complainant alleged that he was busy inside his shop around 3pm when five men entered his shop pretending to be customers.
“Suddenly two of the five robbers produced firearms, pointing them at the complainant and his customers, ordering them to lie on the floor,” said Nhlongo.
“The suspects then took cigarettes, four tablet phones and an undisclosed amount of money and walked out.”
He said they were requesting any information that could lead to the arrest of these suspects.
