Midrand Police Station officers involved in car accident

MIDRAND – The two officers sustained moderate injuries and were transported by emergency services to the nearest hospital for further care.


Midrand Police Station officers were involved in a single-vehicle accident on the R55 at around 10.30am on 15 November.

Midrand police spokesperson, Sergeant Matome Tlamela confirmed that two officers were involved in the accident on their way to attending a complaint.

“The driver lost control of the vehicle, then the vehicle landed on the side. However, the officers sustained moderate injuries and were transported to the nearest hospital for further care,” she said.

All relevant authorities were on the scene.
