Ward 111 councillor shares hopes for the new year
EBONY PARK – Ward 111 councillor wishes Covid-19 patients a speedy recovery and condolences to those who have lost their family members.
Ward 111 councilor Matsemela Raisibe wishes Ebony Park and Ivory Park residents a Merry Christmas and happy New Year.
Raisibe said her positive highlights for the year were the services delivered to some areas within her ward. “My positive highlights were when some of the gravel roads were serviced within Ward 111. Some of the lows is the sewage blockage in the ward.”
She added that she hoped the roads which were still gravel would be serviced in the new year and for Eskom to repair damaged transformers.
“Lights are also not working because criminals have been stealing the cables which is a problem within our ward, which is one of the things I hope our government or the police can deal with.
“I like to wish all of Ward 111 Merry Christmas and all families who lost their loved ones during Covid-19 this year… This also goes for all patients in hospitals, have a happy New Year.”
