Driver ejected following a collision in Midrand

MIDRAND – The patient was treated on the scene and, once stabilised, was transported to a nearby hospital.

Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a collision on the R55 in Crowthorne AH, Midrand on Sunday, 7 February.

Shawn Herbst from the communication’s office of Netcare 911 said that paramedics found that two cars were involved in a collision.

“Upon assessment, medics found that one person had sustained serious injuries after he was ejected during a rollover,” said Herbst.

The patient, a driver of a vehicle, was treated on the scene and once stabilised was transported to a hospital.

“Three people were injured, but only one person, the driver was transported as the others refused transportation,” added Herbst.
