Established in 1993, The Baron restaurants have always been known for their hearty food, friendly atmosphere and impeccable service. Fast-forward two decades and The Baron’s immense popularity has led to the creation of the popular 011 Gin Eateries, born out of a need to offer patrons a contemporary, urban vibe.

Renowned for its deliciously appetising menu, generous portions and real value for money, owners Barry Twiss and Gareth Spencer have carefully selected a menu that is completely delectable, served in a warm and inviting atmosphere which is what makes The Baron what it is.

“Our menu embraces all that is South African and more, with a sprinkle of traditional family fare, a splash of fine dining and a host of superb wholesome flavours,” says Spencer.

“We see ourselves as friendly, upbeat and festive – true to the South African spirit. Whether a customer is looking for a succulent steak, mouth-watering ribs, a scrumptious bulging burger or our famous Baron platters, our sought-after eateries aim to satisfy a variety of different tastes!”

And … if the spicy chicken prego roll or tender sirloin with our famous jalapeño sauce and fillings aren’t to your taste, The Baron’s healthy crisp garden salad greens, vegan burgers or light meal options are bursting with goodness – for a health kick you won’t forget!
