KYALAMI – The community is devasted to hear that a true community man has died.

The Kyalami community is reeling after learning the devasting news that, friend and community member, Takis Michalakis has passed away.

In a post by the Kyalami Neighbourhood group, it was stated that early this morning (February 2) Michalakis met up with friends and fellow Sector Community Forum (SCF) members for a morning cycle. It is alleged that he sadly collapsed from an apparent heart attack.

In the post from Anton van Niekerk (Sector 4 SCF), he said, “We were and are shattered and heartbroken. For many, many years Takis played a pivotal role not only in his local community but in the greater Midrand community.”
