IN PICS: Members from DA Ward 132 stand in solidarity with Ukrainian residents
MIDRAND – A peaceful protest by members of DA Ward 132 calls for Ukraine to be saved and the end of the war.
On Human Rights Day, residents and members of Democratic Alliance (DA) Ward 132 braved the rainy weather to show support to Ukrainian residents.
MMC for Environment and Infrastructure Services Michael Sun, DA Ward 132 councillor Annette Deppe and MP Madeleine Hicklin led a peaceful protest in Midrand on March 21. Those gathered held placards displaying messages such as, ‘NO TO WAR, save Ukraine’, ‘SAY NO TO RUSSIA stop the war!’, ‘Save Ukraine’.
This was a call to end the war between Russia and Ukraine by supporting all human rights with the #StandWithUkraine
