As it is a month dedicated to celebrating mothers, Midland Primary and High School found the perfect way to celebrate not just Mother’s Day, but the entire month of May.
The school recently hosted a Mommy and Me Tea event with delicious treats and great entertainment by the learners.
Classy was the order of the day as mommies started arriving in their hues of blush pinks in honour of the invite to the event.
“You could feel the love in the room as the little ones celebrated their moms in the form of song, dance, and poetry,” said Cebo Khumalo, the mathematics teacher at the school.
Khumalo added that a little sweet treat packaged by the staff of the school was the highlight of the day. “We can surely say the Mommy and Me event was a huge success. We look forward to many of these in the future.”
Moreover, to continue celebrating ‘mother’s month’, the school also had another event, Dress up like your mother Day where learners came dressed like their mothers.
