Crowthorne Christian School is currently closed following assault allegations captured on video
The Gauteng Economic Freedom Fighters, together with parents are demonstrating outside Crowthorne Christian School.
Following allegations of racial abuse and assault, a Crowthorne-based school has been temporarily closed.
This comes after a man was seen on a 02m18s video assaulting a 12-year-old learner and manhandling her.

An assault charge has been opened with police

The quarrel apparently ensued when the teenage learner arrived at school with her dreadlocks hair.
The learner’s parents have since opened an assault case at the Midrand Police Station.
Department of Education spokesperson, Steve Mabona confirmed to the paper that they were aware of the incident.
“It must be noted that the said school is illegally operating, and the learner was offered alternative schooling and counselling by the GDE,” said Mabona.
Midrand Reporter journalist, Sphiwe Masilela is currently at the school where Gauteng Economic Freedom Fighters, together with the parents are demonstrating outside the school’s premises.
