The recent IIEs Varsity College regional Client Treat was an event to remember – as it recognised and honoured their clients for their valuable contribution to shaping the future careers of numerous students.
The event, which was hosted by the Career Centres of The IIE’s Varsity College Waterfall, Pretoria, Sandton, and IIE MSA, on November 10 provided a platform for expressing gratitude, networking, celebrating successes, and looking forward to another year of fruitful partnerships.
It was a wonderful opportunity for clients to reflect on the success of their partnerships with IIE’s Varsity College and to interact with the tertiary community.
Founder and director of Quality360, industrial organisational psychologist, and speaker Salome Jansen van Vuuren was the guest speaker of the day.
Salome delivered an inspiring speech on adaptability as power in the job market, cultivating growth mindsets and future-ready skills, how to navigate the fusion of tech and talent, staying agile in HR practises, and the importance of candidate journeys.
Her speech was well received by all the guests, and it was one of the highlights of the event.
According to Signa Group recruitment administrator, Kelebogile Masuku, working closely with The IIE’s Varsity College was a good experience, and the Client Treat provided an excellent opportunity to reflect on the events they attended throughout the year.
One event that stood out was the career fair, which was very successful as they reached out to many students.
Masuku also acknowledged the engagement and interest shown by the students they worked with throughout the year, and they look forward to next year when they will be exposed to all the IIE’s Varsity College events, have access to graduates who have completed their qualifications, and place more graduates from The IIE’s Varsity College.
