Gallery: SPAR race brings festive vibes to Joburg

Thousands of runners engaged in the SPAR Women’s Challenge Jozi 2024, racing through the bustling streets of Emmarentia.

A celebrated event for Joburg residents, the annual SPAR Women’s Challenge is set to take place today (October 6) at Mark’s Park Sports Club in Emmarentia.

Not only for women, the race encourages runners and walkers of all athletic abilities to come out and support a good cause, while having a blast running through some of Joburg’s most beautiful, leafy-green suburbs.

Third and second place winners of the 10km, Diniya Kedir Abaraya and Tadu Nare

This year the race is in support of Reach for RecoveryThe Smile Foundation and Headstart Kids.
