Glen Austin High renamed to Glen Austin House to cater for grades RR to 12
Antoinette Engelbrecht, SPL Group senior manager, said they are looking forward to the exciting chapter as Glen Austin House.
From the start of the 2025 academic year, Glen Austin High School will be known as Glen Austin House.
This is as the Glen Austin-based school in Midrand celebrates 10 years of academic excellence.
Glen Austin House will cater for learners from grades RR to 12. Antoinette Engelbrecht SPL Group senior manager, which includes the subsidiary of Glen Austin High School, said the Glen Austin House Early Childhood Edu-Centre would cater for learners in grades RR to 1, the Preparatory School, grades 1 to 7, and the House (grades 8 to 12).

She said they were thrilled to announce that they were re-branding, marking a significant milestone in its evolution. “The re-branding marks an exciting chapter in our history. Glen Austin House represents our continued pursuit of excellence, innovation and community through quality education. We are proud to embark on this new journey while honouring our heritage,” said Engelbrecht.
She added this re-branding reflected the school’s growth, expansion and dedication to innovative education while maintaining its legacy and values.
Engelbrecht reassured former school alumni that the name change would not affect academic records, academic qualifications and other notable achievements would remain unchanged.

Your trust, encouragement, and partnership have made Glen Austin High the thriving school it is today. Our new chapter as Glen Austin House is exciting, but we assure you that our commitment to academic excellence and innovation remains unshakeable. We are still the same dedicated team, driven by the same passion.”
Englebrecht invited all their stakeholders to continue working with the school in continued quality private education services.
