A total of 19 students graduated at MMI’s Midrand headquarters on February 22. The programme runs from March to November.

Founded in 2011 by Professor Maurice Radebe, a prominent figure in the petroleum industry and head of Wits Business School, MMI aims to empower leaders to create positive change in business and leadership.

Sifiso Mokoena, MMI’s head of media, highlighted the programme’s diverse student body, which includes senior managers, recent graduates, specialists, and entrepreneurs.

“We expect them to enhance their performance and development due to the training in personal mastery and leadership. Some students have already launched new businesses during the course, and we anticipate they will apply skills in ideation, business modelling, and value positioning,” said Mokoena.

MMI continues to support its alumni, providing access to resources and assigning mentors to those with viable business plans, connecting them with industry professionals for further guidance.

Mokoena also announced an exciting programme for 2025, which will focus more on the two main student groups: those seeking career development and those interested in business, with tailored workshops and relevant expertise.

The graduation featured a keynote address from the chairperson of Transnet Dr Andile Sangqu, who shared his journey of balancing a corporate career with his ministry calling. He emphasised that serving in the corporate world could also fulfil a divine purpose, a perspective he gained from his bishop.
The event also included student testimonials.

Those interested in enrolling can contact MMI at 177 Kruger Road, President Park AH, call 081 821 8500, or visit their website at Mmi-sa.com.
