Minister Buti Manamela hails Moletsi professionals for investing in education

Minister Buti Manamela praised the Moletsi Foundation’s commitment to empowering learners during a network session in Midrand.

Minister of Higher Education and Training Buti Manamela joined community leaders and professionals at the Moletsi Professionals Networking Session held at Accolades Boutique in Midrand on October 23.

The event, hosted under the Mmakgoshi Mmanare Foundation, brought together professionals from different sectors to raise funds and support the Moletsi Education Programme. This initiative provides much-needed assistance to top learners in South Africa.

Through the programme, learners receive vital resources, including university registration fees, laptops, smartphones, stationery, printers, iPads, travel bags, and refrigerators, enabling them to pursue their studies with dignity and confidence.

In his address, Manamela commended the initiative and paid tribute to His Majesty Kgoši Kgabo Moloto III, the traditional leader of the Bahlaloga ba Moletjie people, for uniting professionals to uplift their communities.

“This kind of partnership shows the power of collaboration in changing lives. We are proud to see communities taking the lead in advancing education and career development,” said Manamela.

The minister also welcomed the launch of the Moletši Career Expo, noting that it aligns with his department’s efforts to promote career guidance and skills development among young people.
