Stolen Midrand vehicle found stripped in Kliptown

A stolen Polo Vivo was traced from Midrand to Kliptown by JMPD officers, but thieves had already stripped it.

A vehicle stolen in Midrand was recovered in Kliptown on November 2, thanks to swift action by the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) K9 Unit.

JMPD spokesperson Superintendent Xolani Fihla confirmed that officers were patrolling along the N1 North towards Viking when they received an alert about a silver-grey VW Polo Vivo that had been reported stolen earlier in Midrand.
