Traffic has come to a standstill in parts of Glen Austin after protestors blocked the intersection of Allandale Road and Bridal Veil Road on Friday afternoon.

The blockage was reported shortly before 13:00. Law enforcement officers have been dispatched to the scene.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes and avoid the area until the roads are cleared.
