Meet your new Mrs South Africa International, Léchar Knezovich

Newly crowned Mrs South Africa International, Léchar Knezovich from Noordwyk, says her success is not a single moment but the result of five years of growth, setbacks, and fearless reinvention.

Noordwyk’s Léchar Knezovich has always believed that unshakable confidence opens the door to opportunity.

Now, as the newly crowned Mrs South Africa International, she is preparing to take that message to the world stage.

“For those who have followed my journey over the past five years, becoming Mrs South Africa International is not a single moment of success, but the result of years of growth and determination,” she said.

In July, Knezovich will travel to Chicago to represent South Africa internationally, a moment she describes as both humbling and deeply purposeful.

“This title is not something that came easily or quickly. My journey has been filled with lessons, setbacks, and reinvention. Every step, whether forward or sideways, has shaped me into the woman standing here today.”

For her, the crown is more than recognition. It extends her life’s work through her platform, Walking in Confidence, a self-development and leadership initiative equipping women and youth with tools to believe in themselves.

“Walking in Confidence was created because I saw how many young people, especially girls, struggle with self-belief. Dreams and potential live in every community. What many lack is the confidence to step forward, speak up, and see their own worth.”

She believes confidence transforms lives in tangible ways.

“One confident woman does not just rise; she creates stronger families, healthier children, local jobs, and a ripple effect that shapes future generations. That is why my work focuses on long-term, sustainable empowerment rather than once-off inspiration.”

Her passion is also reflected in her professional life. As director of Ace Models Rosebank and a board member of Ace Models International, she mentors teens and young adults, helping them build life skills beyond modelling.

She is also the founder of Perfect Fit SA and The Perfect Fit Foundation, supporting breast cancer survivors and restoring confidence after illness. Her work has earned national recognition, including a Social Media Award and a Women of Wonder Award.

“My daughter has given me a new perspective on what it means to represent women. I want her to grow up seeing that motherhood, ambition, and purpose can exist together.”

Knezovich hopes her journey inspires others to embrace imperfection. “The path to purpose does not have to be perfect. Sometimes it just has to be brave.”
