Gauteng police on lookout for Dr Enoch Mandla Lamba for alleged fraud in Midrand
The police are urging anyone who may have information regarding the whereabouts of Doctor Enoch Lamba to get in touch with the investigating officer.
The Gauteng police are seeking public assistance to locate Dr Enoch Mandla Lamba, a 39-year-old male suspect who allegedly committed fraud in Midrand in May 2023.
According to Captain Tintswalo Sibeko, the spokesperson for provincial police in Gauteng, Lamba is alleged to have posted a false advertisement on Facebook for scooters.
This deceptive advertisement prompted a complainant to deposit R200 000 into Lamba’s account.

The police are urging anyone who may have information regarding the whereabouts of Lamba to get in touch with the investigating officer, Detective Constable Mthombeni, at 011 309 6000. Additionally, individuals can also contact Lieutenant Colonel Mokovhi at 061 129 9371 for further assistance.
Furthermore, members of the public can reach out to Crime Stop at 08600 10111 to report any information they may have. All information shared will be kept confidential.
