Building beauty: Entrepreneur’s vision for Pleasant Looks in 2025

While she dedicated this year to establishing her business presence and marketing efforts, her focus is shifting toward generating significant revenue for Pleasant Looks in 2025.

For the upcoming year, local entrepreneur Naomi Modise (29) is fully committed to the growth and expansion of her beauty and makeup business, Pleasant Looks.

Modise officially launched her venture late this year, marking a significant milestone, not only for her business but also for her journey as an entrepreneur.

The launch served as a transformative moment that introduced her services to her clientele in Gauteng. It proved to be one of the standout highlights of both her year and her career.

“The primary highlight for this year has undeniably been the official launch of Pleasant Looks,” Modise shared. “It has truly opened up numerous opportunities for me on much larger platforms within the industry.”

As she looks to the future, her aspirations for next year are even grander. While this year was primarily focused on establishing her business presence and marketing efforts, she is now setting her sights on the financial growth of Pleasant Looks.

“Next year, my wish for Pleasant Looks is to begin generating significant revenue and to focus less on public relations activities,” Modise expressed. “Though public relations and advertising are crucial for growing the brand’s visibility, they do not always translate into the financial returns that I aim to see.

“I would like to extend my most pleasant gratitude to Zandile Mngomezulu, my associate, from whom I draw immense inspiration and strength. Additionally, I want to acknowledge my industry mentor, Dr Lindelani Mkhize, whose guidance has been invaluable.”

She acknowledges that reaching these goals will demand dedication and effort. She sincerely thanks everyone who has supported her journey and wishes all a joyful festive season.
