Acts House of Education excited about its 10th anniversary next year as they reflect 2024

Their 10th anniversary celebration will not only reflect on how far they have come as a school but also cast a vision for the next decade of growth and success.

As 2024 draws to a close, Acts House of Education reflects on a year filled with remarkable achievements and exciting developments.

The school’s unwavering commitment to holistic education, grounded in Christian values, has once again led to both academic and extracurricular success, while key infrastructure projects are setting the stage for a promising future.

This year brought many proud moments for Acts House, as several of its talented learners were selected to represent Gauteng in various sports.

In the Dance Sport School League (DSSL), Camden Moodley, Buhle Ganga, Josh Jansen, and Simphiwe Madubane competed for Gauteng Province in Cape Town, with Camden achieving the remarkable honour of representing South Africa on the international dance stage.

In touch rugby, Sibusiso Mchunu represented the school at the district level, while Solomon Mokoena, Musa Mnyakeni, and Vutharhi Dube travelled to Cape Town as representatives of Gauteng.

Acts House is incredibly proud of each of these learners for their dedication and accomplishments, showcasing their talents and the school’s spirit at both provincial and national levels.

In addition to learners achievements, the school made significant strides in improving its campus. They added an additional layer of security by installing a new inner fence within the existing outer perimeter, further enhancing safety for all learners and staff.

Another huge win is the completion of the Grade RR/R class building that will enable the early childhood development (ECD) centre to join the rest of the school, providing a nurturing environment for the youngest learners.

Looking ahead to 2025, Acts House is excited to celebrate a major milestone – its 10th anniversary. The school is planning events to commemorate a decade of educational excellence, faith, and community. This celebration will not only reflect on how far they have come but also cast a vision for the next decade of growth and success.

None of this would be possible without the dedicated support of the school board, led by chairperson and visionary Apostle Peter de Fin. His leadership has been instrumental in guiding the school’s growth and development, and the school extends heartfelt thanks to him and all board members for their continued support.

As they close the year, the school leadership leaves the community with these words of encouragement: “With God, all things are possible.”

This serves as a reminder that the achievements of 2024 are just the beginning of what is possible when faith and hard work come together.
