Midrand Sector 3 CPF conducts community patrol

Midrand Sector 3 CPF urged community members to report any criminal activities in the area to them or the police.

Otto Ramokoka, a patrol coordinator from Midrand Sector 3 CPF said some areas in Midrand have become hotspots for criminal activities.

This after the forum conducted a visibility patrol session in their sector on March 4. He said they assembled at the Shell garage for a quick briefing before moving on to hotspots, McDonald’s and San Ridge Square.

Ramokoka said, “We patrolled 8th Road, 9th Road and Noordwyk Park before we proceeded to the park in Country View as it is one of the hotspots for crime but it was quiet.

“Our biggest appreciation goes to our patrollers, TRSS Security Company and Passion Security Services for joining us.”
