The Curro Midrand Halfway Gardens family came together to make a meaningful difference through their annual Easter egg drive.
They were able to collect more than 7 000 Easter eggs for the children of Yenzani Children’s Home and New Jerusalem Children’s Home.
Curro Grade 7 class leaders, Saranya Marimuthu, Lwandile Dimba, Didintle Mokgathla, Didintle Matsimela, Ethan Moodley, and Resego Mathaha proudly represented the school during the handover, accompanied by teachers Jevisha Maharaj and Lauren Munro. Together, they helped spread love and happiness, one Easter egg at a time.

Maharaj said, “It fills my heart with immense pride and gratitude to witness the compassion and generosity shown by our Curro Midrand Halfway Gardens community. This Easter egg drive was more than just a collection, it was a symbol of love, kindness, and unity.

“The joy in the children’s eyes reminded us all of the power of giving and how even the smallest act of kindness can make a big difference.”
The school was thankful to everyone who was able to contribute and support this great initiative, and together they can continue to nurture not just young minds but kind hearts as well.
