Midrand Montessori High celebrates top achievers for term 1
Principal Sian Jackson-Morkel expressed her enthusiasm about transitioning into term 2, emphasising the exciting opportunities ahead.
Midrand Montessori High takes great pride in announcing its top 10 academic achievers for term 1, whose dedication and excellence have set a high standard for the year ahead.
The overall top performer for all grades (7–10) is Grade 9 learner Aadhya Gupta, who achieved a remarkable term average of 93%. Aadhya is joined in the top three by Grade 8 learner Kimesha Naidoo and Grade 7 learner Bonang Mabyane.

The school’s principal, Sian Jackson-Morkel, expressed excitement as they transitioned into term 2, looking forward to the exciting opportunities it brings.

“Most notably, we have the mid-year exams for which learners will receive support through sessions led by an external independent company specialising in study skills, learning techniques, and career path guidance,” said Jackson-Morkel.
In addition to the academic focus, term 2 also promises enriching experiences, including an excursion to the National Museum of History and Culture, along with a dynamic range of sporting activities that promote teamwork, wellness, and school spirit.

Other top achievers included Malaikah Yasini, Maanda Mphagi, Oreneile Machethe, Thehana Govender, Tlotlang Bonang, Yusrah Johnston, and Zoleka Katiyo.
