Randjiespark power out due to scheduled maintenance

Residents in parts of Randjiespark Ext 37 are currently affected by a planned power outage as City Power performs vital maintenance on the local grid.

A scheduled power outage is currently underway in parts of Randjiespark Ext 37 today, June 17, as City Power carries out essential maintenance on the area’s electrical infrastructure.

The interruption began at 09:00 and is expected to continue until 17:00, affecting portions of 15th Road and 16th Road.

City Power says the maintenance is part of its long-term effort to improve electricity reliability and reduce the chances of future unplanned outages.

Although the power is off, residents are warned that supply can be restored at any time without notice. As a safety measure, all electrical outlets and appliances should be treated as live.
